Happiness Quote

When I woke up early morning my mind just completely blank, suddenly I was questioning my mind. I have no idea and then it just hit me. "Am I happy ,what I have now?". Actually I don't know, so what I did is just open my laptop and do a little research of myself. I have no idea why I'm looking for an answer here in the web, and then it just hit me. This are some quote that I want to share it with you readers of my blog.

  • The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.
  • Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy -- because we will always want to have something else or something more.

Learn How To Make The Most Out Of Each Day

Lately I’ve had to deal with a lot of changes happening in my personal life. First, coming here in the States, Second having a baby. Telling it to my friends, I kept calling them endings, but after wards I began to feel as if it was a process of renewal. There is a Chinese saying that goes ‘if the old doesn’t go, the new cannot come’. Keeping that in mind, I’ve begun to view these difficult events as a shedding of things for me to grow forward, and accept the truth about it so I’ve come to call them ‘changes’ instead of ‘endings’.

Difficult as it may, I know other people who is also going through some tough changes there own life. This post is for us who need self esteem, because I want to share it with you guys, some tools I’ve found to be useful for me in managing my emotional state to navigate through the difficult times. I’m prone to worry and depression myself so I’ve had to learn how to pull myself through, and the beliefs.

Some facts will help to overcoming difficult time in our lives.

1. It is not necessary to understand the cause of the problem to solve it.

2. Spend only 20% of your time on what’s wrong, and 80% on what’s right.

3. No matter what else is happening, you are at least doing one thing right in your life.

4. Problems aren’t always there

5. You are more than just your problems.

6. If what you are doing isn’t working, do something, anything, different from what you’ve been doing before!

7. Everyday is a new day.

8. Seeing what you want in the future.

9. What are you grateful for in your life right now?

And finally always be thankful for what we have and seek guidance from above.
As what I always says " Live your Life to the Fullest".

Roosevelt and Obama?

Are we tired of politician making promises just like our president?Barack Obama last month enlisted Theodore Roosevelt in his campaign for increased governmental control of health care, arguing that TR “first called for reform nearly a century ago.” Google “Theodore Roosevelt, universal health care,” and you’ll find The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, DailyKos, and many other stalwarts of the left suggesting or claiming that Obama is carrying the Republican Roosevelt’s banner.

That’s nonsense. The propagandists take as their one piece of evidence a plank in the Progressive Party platform of 1912.

The tip-off as to intention lies in those last four words, “adapted to American use.” Germany’s “Iron Chancellor,” Otto von Bismark, had created in the 1880s insurance provisions for health, accidents, disability, and old age. The health service offered was local, not centralized, with employers contributing one-third of the cost and workers contributing two-thirds.

If Obama wanted to report accurately Roosevelt’s beliefs, he would start with a speech about one of TR’s favorite topics, “Deadening socialism.”

The 26th president saw governmental control of the economy as the political manifestation of covetousness. He argued that “the only permanently beneficial way in which to help any one is to help him help himself; if either private charity, or governmental action, or any form of social expression destroys the individual’s power of self-help, the gravest possible wrong is really done to the individual.”

Governmental aid to those in need, TR emphasized, should be limited and “extended very cautiously, and so far as possible only where it will not crush out healthy individual initiative.” He saw entrepreneurship as the most effective means of dealing with problems and argued that “socialists and others really do not correct the evils at all, or else only do so at the expense of producing others in aggravated form.”

Roosevelt saw governmental redistribution of wealth as a surrender to covetousness. He argued that anyone elected on such a platform “is not, and never can be, aught but an enemy of the very people he professes to befriend. . . . To break the Tenth Commandment is no more moral now than it has been for the past thirty centuries.”

In short, TR opposed both private and governmental corruption. He straightforwardly noted that “the Eighth Commandment reads: ‘Thou shalt not steal.’ It does not read: ‘Thou shalt not steal from the rich man.’ It does not read: ‘Thou shalt not steal from the poor man.’ It reads simply and plainly: ‘Thou shalt not steal.’” President Obama should take that advice to heart instead of trying to twist history for his political advantage.

Fashion Week

If your trying to convince buyer to watch out for your new clothing line make sure its not that funny looking or you just run out of idea. as Ms. Jennifer Lopez a.ka Jlo making a remark for her new clothing line. Seems hampered by her MC Hammer-inspired parachute pants. Perhaps she should lose them like the rapper lost his career. Seriously she needs to think that buyer wont like it. Even she is use in fashion but still not good.

Bailout our Economy

As I turn on my t.v to watch about our economy right now apparently it s different in what I expect it got worse.

I still don't understand why our new elected president didn't do anything. Especially to our economy. Just like making Bailout to the Bank.
As the Obama Administration's plans to lift toxic assets off bank balance sheets took form, speculation swirled over whether private-sector investors could be enticed to take part. Now another question is looming: Will the banks participate?

On Mar. 23, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner unveiled the latest effort by the government to stabilize banks and unlock frozen credit markets. The long-awaited plan would use $75 billion to $100 billion of federal bailout funds—together with an equal amount of private-sector money and federal loans and guarantees that could bring the total investment to $1 trillion over time—to buy questionable, mostly mortgage-backed assets from banks.

The market soared in response, with the Dow Jones industrial average rising nearly 500 points, or 6.8%. The financial industry hailed the plan as a solid fix that could revive a moribund credit market. But while that reaction relieved some of the immediate pressures on Geithner and the Administration, it was hardly unanimous. Critics called it a series of opaque subsidies that, at best, would prop up the banks and their shareholders without doing much to revive lending.

Let just hope that our President Obama's plan turns ok for our economy.

Fabulous Body while Eating Healthy

If you're feeling sluggish, or you think you're always full and the food has settled in your stomach, undigested. If you think you're fat and need to lose weight. And if you think that you've ingested more than the allowed preservatives and additives into your body and your liver's starting to show symptoms of abuse, then it's time for you to take care of your body.

If you're a regular fast food chain eater, you've probably ingested many fat-soluble chemicals contained in the French fries, cheeseburgers, twisters and soft drinks you've consumed. An 'overload' of these chemicals in the body can lead to illness and conditions like liver malfunction, kidney problems, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies and inefficient metabolism. And the most common symptoms of these illnesses are the usual fatigue, poor skin and low tolerance to pain. This build up cause imbalance in your body, and after sometime, other complications may arise. You might wonder how you were able to get too much acid build up in your body, but the answer is very much obvious.

Detox or detoxification is the process of neutralizing or eliminating toxins from the body. Detox plans may be in different forms and ways - from regular exercise to body scrubs and spa massages, to yoga and meditation. But the simplest and the most common perhaps is to go on a detox diet.

A detox diet is a program that minimizes the chemicals ingested into the body by going for organic food. It highlights food like vitamins and antioxidants that the body needs for detoxification. It also involves taking in of food that will aid in the elimination of toxins like high fiber food and water. It generally suggests a high intake of fresh vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts and lots of fluids, while cutting down on caffeine, alcohol, yeast and sugars.

If you desire to live a long life eat healthy and live happy.

Fight to the last breath

I'm proud to be a Filipino for a simple reason we fight good(laugh hard). Ever since I got here I always update myself in news, especially I heard that our own Manny Pacqiuao will fight with a new boxing champ from europe.

It appears that a proposed mega fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton is becoming a reality. Talks have begun for the two boxing superstars to face each other on May 2, 2009. It appears that the fight would take place at 140 pounds in Las Vegas.

You really have two of the most popular fighters of their generation fighting each other, and that’s the kind of fight we want to make. This is a fight with tremendous global appeal, and both of them have built up a very strong following here. With Manny’s following in Asia and Ricky’s support in Europe you could say Las Vegas is the center of everything.”

Time will tell, but Pacquiao vs Hatton is a great fight itself. Lets hope everything goes smooth.

Spring is already here fun fun and lots of fun. but what does usually young people do at Spring Break? I think its more about drinks and sex. But whats the other alternative just beside going to the beach and spend much money?
Alternative way is an exciting opportunity for you to participate in a week-long, hands-on service learning experience! You might choose to join a team that is teaching children at the Hope of a Child Orphanage in the Dominican Republic, providing medical clinics to under-serviced communities in Costa Rica, or helping to support programs for at-risk populations in our own community of London, Ontario… it's completely up to you!

Happiness in life

Living life to the Fullest its how you make each moment feel wonderful and alive, learned to grow and then applying it to yourself. It gets really easy to disregard our dreams in today's world. There is so much greed, anger, hate and confuse person being passed around and I prefer to look at a much positive way.

I began blogging when a friend of mine told me that its a good way to express my thought and feeling at a time I was searching for some meaning of my own. Its not only for my own self but others as well as I discovered new things about life and me.

I have chosen a life's path of seeking growth as well. I've found that I love experiencing new things and meeting new people. I'd love for you to be one of those people.
