Bday Papaw

We have a bday celebrant today my husband's dad, every sunday we go church and its a especial day. After church we just went to have lunch with the entire family. Papaw turns 73, born May 31, 1936 his a good in law. He always help us in terms of needs.

Father's Day

We also honor our beloved Dad on June 21st, just like our Mom honoring them for what they've done to us. Father's Day is a day honoring fathers, celebrated on various days in many places around the world and commemorate fathers and forefathers. Father's Day is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide and typically involves gift-giving, and special dinners to fathers and family-oriented activities. The first observance of Father's Day is believed to have been held on July 5, 1908 in a church located in Fairmont, West Virginia, by Dr. Robert Webb of West Virginia at the Central United Methodist Church of Fairmont.
Who ever started Father's Day celebration, thank you. We love our dearly father without them were nothing. If there's no Father in a family it wont be called home same us or Mother.

I do this since my baby was born before she goes to bed we always took a bath time. She loves it, she knows what bathroom is, She'll take off her clothes by herself an diaper too. plays with bubbles and bath toys. She even make funny faces most of the time.

What's up doc?

Bored

Ive been playing all day long I don't know why. Just got bored I guess, didnt do anything today went to bed and woke up so early. lazy me really bad. Ashley was crying at me not paying attention to her, poor baby. Hope I have something more interesting to do next morning. So I have something to tell you guys.

Baby girl is coming

We have a new up coming baby this October and its a GIRL, yepeeeeeeeeeh. Baby ashley will have fun this summer long plus she'll have a new playmate to share with. We were thinking it will be a boy but not. My husband is now a grandpa too early though, but were still happy that we have our 1st grand baby :D.

Remembering our HEROs

Today our Memorial Day its a day of remembrance for those who have died serving our country. This is a great time to honor our veterans and famous Americans by visiting the monuments in Washington, DC. The Memorial Day weekend also marks the beginning of the busy summer season and the Washington, DC region celebrates with family friendly events and special services. Monday, May 25, 2009, beginning at 2 p.m. Well I didn't have a chance to watch it TV was busy playing with my lil girl and doing choirs at home too.
The parade of Marching Bands and Veterans units from all 50 states steps off at the corner of Constitution Avenue and 7th Streets, NW and proceeds along Constitution Avenue, past the White House, ending at 17th Street. The National Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the World War II Veterans Committee and includes patriotic floats and helium-filled balloons.

Happy Memorial Day to all the families of those men and women we've lost, will always remember you.

Geese

Got tired at home, I just got bored, so we just take the car and then roam around neighborhood and then jog around we even didn't plan it at all. I saw these geese oh its so cute, good thing I brought my camera. My baby love is so much, she even say bobo..I dont know what that means but I think she just named it like her stuff animal.

Done Painting

I canceled our plan to go mall in West Virginia coz we havent even finish painting our ceiling kitchen. Told my husband that will go after we done painting it, we started early morning and thank god we just finish around 6:00pm so no more painting in the kitchen(lol). So we decide to just eat out later tonight :D and buy some stuuf I need and baby too. So ill see you guys later :D

Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (May 25 in 2009). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War (it is celebrated near the day of reunification after the civil war), it was expanded after World War I to include American casualties of any war or military action.The official birthplace of Memorial Day is Waterloo, New York. The village was credited with being the place of origin because it observed the day on May 5, 1866, and each year thereafter. The friendship between General John Murray, a distinguished citizen of Waterloo, and General John A. Following the end of the Civil War, many communities set aside a day to mark the end of the war or as a memorial to those who had died. Some of the places creating an early memorial day include Sharps burg, Maryland, located near Antietam Battlefield; Charleston, South Carolina; Boalsburg, Pennsylvania; Petersburg, Virginia; Carbondale, Illinois; Columbus, Mississippi; many communities in Vermont; and some two dozen other cities and towns. Chating with my family in Pinas

Was so happy to talk to my family in Pinas, I called them thru phone but still I wanna see there faces and know how far they have change. Hopefully I can visit them next year but I know it wont happen, fare is too expensive this day especially when 3 of us going in vacation not including the other stuff that we need to pay.
I would love to stay there for atleast a month since I cant visit them all the time. That will be a good summer fun with my entire family, I dont know what to expect when I come home. Even Ashley would feel awkward the langauge and filipino food and how they live.

American Idol

After that cleaning all day, just hanging out and watch my favorite American Idol, its the final session. Host Ryan Seacrest said tonight finale that nearly 100 million votes were cast for the finalists. The two-hour finale included big performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart. Lambert performed with Kiss and Allen dueted with Keith Urban also performed our Steve Martin and Kiss.

Before they announce the winner, the two finalist duet on "We are the Champions" with the members of Queen.
I always put my bid to Kris Allen, In a turn of events that viewers have variously found surprising, validating and frustrating, the underdog contestant Kris Allen was named the winner of “American Idol” on Wednesday night, receiving more votes than Adam Lambert, who was perceived (by some) to be the likely champion. That was most awesome performance that Ive seen on past American Idol.

Choirs

All day Ive been doing some choirs at home but not even done yet. It take more then 1hr to clean glass windows it was so fealty, then doing laundry while waiting to rinse folding some clean clothes I almost give up, good thing Tim watch ashley playing in sand. Now im too tired and sleepy. See you tomorrow :D

Choirs

This entire week is cleaning up mess at home, started 1st windows that was a long clean time almost 1hr it was fealty. While I'm waiting to dry some stuff doing laundry and folding clean clothes im almost like a yaya here at home (lol). Good thing Tim watch Ashley playing in the sand. it was a tired day, Im not even finish yet on other choirs. See you tomorrow... going sleep now...

Doing grocery

I already planned what to do this morning after doing most choirs at home, 1st going to grocery for food and item that we need at home, for the entire 2 weeks. After that plant some flower in my small garden then going back to walmart to do some extra shopping. It kinda boring now and tired just to go some place that you know already whats inside. When we got home she just fall asleep, she even snore :D(lol). It was a good fun, kinda boring day for my family.

Miss Pinas

Its been raining all day, sucks cant go anywhere. I don't know what I'm feeling right now. I missed home a lot, people were I grew is too different from here, cant even finish this blog at all. Don't know where to start. Feel sick right now, sometimes I just cry in bed when I think about Pinas. Wish I just go there now, miss the food, people, friends and family. Ill be 2yrs here in US this August 09, but still I haven't enjoy it here.

Ashley day out

Ashley been playing outside the house with her big sis haley. She even took some picture of what they been doing out. I let her wear swimsuit, she's ready for summer now. She just love to be outside playing with lil insects and grass, laugh if she saw a big truck and then starts to point.
I just having a bad day, my husband wont listen to me at all. I'm just so mad right now, his just a lazy a**hole. I tried to post some pic here but its not uploading so ill just try later.

Planting Time

We've been playing in the yard for the entire day with baby Ashley, now I'm exhausted. Since I have time to get my butt on something I indeed up cleaning my small flower garden in front Porsche. Its just funny coz I didn't even know what type of flower plant I just planted(lol). Then after that it rain hard, hope my plant wont die. There will be a lot of planting to do next week if I wont get lazy again, its nice I have something to do rather than keep watching tv and eat all the time, ill gain much weight and thats not cool at all. So whats ur plan this weekends?

Food Tv

I just took a good nap and ended up sleeping very long, then got daydreams not good at all. When I get up I'm soaking whit with my tears running down into my eyes and still keep crying my husband look at me and then ask" whats wrong baby?"So I told him" Got a bad dream". So after that sit beside him and watch Food Network Channel, love this channel especially the "Dinner Impossible with Robert Irvine. We just watch all episode from 3-10pm that's a lot to watch. Even Tim just fall asleep in the couch right now and me still watching tv while playing my Online Game.

Nothing to do

Just like yesterday its a boring, boring day, sleep all day then woke up to eat. Even my baby same way too. Hopefully I wont be acting like this tomorrow. I already have plans for next day, plant my lil flowers.

Tired Day

I'm so tired just writing this blog of mine, We've been out for the entire morning. We planned to go flea market since its monday but it was raining so to take out our disapointed went to Burke's Garden instead, which were the Amish people live before. Beside Burke's Garden was a good place, simple old country living, give you peace of mind just going there. After our site seeing we wont out to eat at Chinesse Restaurant was a good food(lol). Then went to buy some grocery for a week. I even take lil nap coming home, and then around 4:25pm haley ask her daddy to take her to Walmart, it was wrong that I came along my body cant handle it no more(huhu). Ashley was also tired after we got home I feed her and then give her a bath( she love it) then went directly to bed. Thats our family time.

All about me

Just like what Im expecting this morning when I got up, My husband give me kisses and baby too saying"he loves me and happy mother's day", melts my heart away. He told me that he wont buy me flower and card works for me. He even promise to go shopping later this afternoon and dinner which he did. I was just having a blast this mother's day(lol) which I love. Today is my day including my family of course, but still its me all day long(hehe). Happy mother;s day to all of the mother's in the world.

Mother's Day

Tomorrow is a big day for mom like me, This will be 2nd yr for me to celebrate. Was hoping that my husband will treat me somewhere just like last year. Bought me flowers and went out to eat.

Most countries including US, Australia, Canada, India and some part of Asian Country celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May. Mothers Day came into being due to the efforts made by Ms Julia Ward Howe and Ms Anna Jarvis. The Resolution for having a dedicated Mother's Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8, 1914. Since then people across the world have been celebrating Mothers Day with joy and devotion.
Origin of Mother's Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans. But the roots of Mother's Day history can also be traced in UK where a Mothering Sunday was celebrated much before the festival saw the light of the day in US. However, the celebration of the festival as it is seen today is a recent phenomenon and not even a hundred years old. Thanks to the hard work of the pioneering women of their times, Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis that the day came into existence. Today the festival of Mothers day is celebrated across 46 countries (though on different dates) and is a hugely popular affair. Millions of people across the globe take the day as an opportunity to honor their mothers, thank them for their efforts in giving them life, raising them and being their constant support and well wisher.

Stop Smoking

Do you smoke? If not don't even try,Tobacco is a killer. If you smoke, you're more likely to develop disease and die earlier than if you don't smoke. My husband is a smoker ever since he started when he was 15yrs old. Sometimes I ask him "what will it do to you?" he just simply reply's"it feels good for him". I tried but didn't do well, it sucks(lol), sometimes my baby copy cat her daddy smoking making this same stuff and pointing cigarette and saying"mok mok"its funny but we keep reminding her its not good.

Star Trek Mania

There's a new movie in town sort of "Star Trek", The new film, directed by J.J. Abrams, takes "Trek" back to the early days of the USS Enterprise with a young Capt. James T. Kirk and his crew.The movie introduces a slew of movie newcomers in what are now iconic roles: Chris Pine takes on the role of the passionate Kirk; Zachary Quinto is the logical Spock; Zoe Saldana plays the beautiful Lt. Uhura; Karl Urban is Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy; Simon Pegg plays engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott; John Cho is Sulu; and Anton Yelchin appears as Pavel Chekov.

It base that watched the show's 79 episodes religiously, the original "Star Trek" television series. The new film has already stirred some controversy among die-hard Trekkies for messing around (a little) with that "sacred material." In the new film, the Enterprise is built in Iowa instead of San Francisco, and some of the relationships are a bit different than fans may remember -- particularly a romantic relationship. But history comes in handy, particularly if you're an actor trying to get a handle on "Star Trek's" characters. This will be the movie that fans would love, even me I haven't watch it just the previous but this will be the movie that im dying to watch in theaters.

Not yet Done

After a week of doing some paint job and moving stuff at the kitchen its finally done. But 2weeks from now we going to start painting again it would be in the Living Room and our Bedroom, we getting tired of doing it, especially me. I would just love to get lazy for awhile but I couldn't do it, my husband told me after I done helped him that he will treat me me somewhere nice" love that".

Mommy knows best

Next week will be mother's day cant believe that a year ago I give birth to a healthy baby girl before celebrating mother's day. It was the best thing that happened to me, change my world a whole lot. Now I realize what my mama keep telling me" someday you will know that I'm right",its happening to me right now, as what they say" mother knows best". I tried not to think about bad stuff that will happen to her, hopefully when she grow old she'll be proud me. Just writing this blog make me cry and I don't know why. When that last minute is upon you and it’s crunch time,sometimes you need to pull off something special in a pinch.

Got guitar for hubby

Just I told you when we got amp pv for our guitar in flea market, today we just went to a music store to buy a new guitar, my hubby was so surprise about it. I told him that it will be his early xmas gift(he smiled), got tired hearing him talking to have a new one so I did bought him a new one. Well he can play practice anytime now except at night of course(lol). Ill be posting some pic here tomorrow if I wont get lazy...

Clean House!

Busy all day doing some paint job at our mini kitchen, we got tired white color so we did change it a into blue sky. Even until now its not finish, I didn't know it take to much time just painting small area in the kitchen. Hopefully will be done tomorrow, so we can start doing something else in the house, we need to move into our new bedroom coz its getting smaller in our old room.

There's a new star in town but its not in the entertainment business, its not even actor. Its a flu, a swine flu. But this is not the 1st time that swine flu effect human being. On March 24, 1976, President Gerald Ford pressed the panic button.

A swine flu virus that scientists believed was descended from the devastating strain of 1918 had infected hundreds of recruits at Fort Dix in New Jersey. One had died. At the urgings of the Center for Disease Control, Ford mobilized a national effort to beat back a resurgence of the 1918 flu, which had killed an estimated 50 million worldwide. Television and radio outlets swamped the airwaves with reports of imminent danger. About 40 million Americans got swine flu shots.
The immunization program ground to a halt in 10 weeks after 525 people who were vaccinated then reported Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare condition typified by inflamed nerves and general weakness. About 25 people died.

Swine influenza (also called swine flu, pig influenza, hog flu, and pig flu) refers to influenza virus that usually infect pigs and are called swine influenza virus. Swine influenza is common in pigs in the Midwestern United States (and occasionally in other states), Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe (including the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Italy), Kenya, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.

Transmission of swine influenza virus from pigs to humans is not common. When transmitted, it does not always cause human influenza and often, the only sign of infection is the presence of antibodies which are only detectable by laboratory tests. When transmission results in influenza in a human, it is called zoophytic swine flu.

Rarely, these strains of swine flu can pass from human to human. In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general, namely chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort. We need to be very careful nowadays, we don't know when or how we be effected. Hope It wont get to our love one's.

Torqoises

Last year at summer, I found a little turtle at our backyard it was so cute but its not just ordinary turtle, tortoises a type of land turtle. So I took it and keep as my pet. It walks faster than other land turtle, baby ashley was even afraid of the lil turtle.
There are 3 categorize of land- based turtle.

• Tortoises are land-based, thick-bodied, have blunt heads/faces & have ‘tree-trunk’ legs (like an elephant) that lives on the land but can enter the water for a drink, to cool off or to escape and evade predators.

• Box Turtles are fairly small (by land-turtle standards) semi-terrestrial turtles native to much of the U.S.

• Wood Turtles are medium to large semi-aquatics spending a lot of time on both land & in water.

Hi meet my lil ninja turtle!

Sometimes tortoise bites and it hurts, we don't even put him in a cage, his free to go everywhere in the house except outside(lol) he even have his own exersice cage. He eats live bugs. Still I dont know how old he is, ill let him go when summer time come so he wont freeze outside.
