2009 is a rough year for most people, but it didn't stop director, producer and writer to make a create a good movies that we love. Here are some movies for summer that will hit in theater nationwide.
- Wolverine (2009)
Director Gavin Hood has been helming a Wolverine movie that delves into the origins of the hero, from his childhood to the day Logan got his skeleton infused with the indestructible adamantium alloy. Opening in theaters on May 1st, the film is starring Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.
- Night of the Museum 2(2009)
Museum sculptures and mummies are coming back to life in 2009. Night at the Museum 2, aka Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian, will indeed be released in May 2009. The movie is directed by Shawn Levy and is starring Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dyke, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, Hank Azaria, Bill Hader, Ricky Gervais, Christopher Guest and Steve Coogan.
- Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
With the success of the live-action film TRANSFORMERS, the robots in disguise proved that there was too much action for just one film. This sequel promises more in the epic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons.
- G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009)
