They staying in our back porch were their cut wood. Tim tried to feed them with fish food, apparently there not peaky at all. We tried to look for there mommy but I guess she either died or babies just got lost from the pack.

Remembering our HEROs
The parade of Marching Bands and Veterans units from all 50 states steps off at the corner of Constitution Avenue and 7th Streets, NW and proceeds along Constitution Avenue, past the White House, ending at 17th Street. The National Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the World War II Veterans Committee and includes patriotic floats and helium-filled balloons.
Happy Memorial Day to all the families of those men and women we've lost, will always remember you.

Memorial Day Celebration 09
This up coming Monday is Memorial day before that we already planned for tomorrow since its weekends. In addition to appreciating the military and grilling, Memorial Day is known for shopping--specifically, getting great deals. Whether you plan to rub elbows with fellow discount-seekers at the mall or click-and-shop from home, you can find some of the deepest discounts of the year this weekend. If some of our blogger didn't know about history of memorial day I post it here.

Following the end of the Civil War, many communities set aside a day to mark the end of the war or as a memorial to those who had died. Some of the places creating an early memorial day include Sharps burg, Maryland, located near Antietam Battlefield; Charleston, South Carolina; Boalsburg, Pennsylvania; Petersburg, Virginia; Carbondale, Illinois; Columbus, Mississippi; many communities in Vermont; and some two dozen other cities and towns. These observances coalesced around Decoration Day, honoring the Union dead, and the several Confederate Memorial Days.
Were thankful for our military army who server our country. Thank you.

American Idol
After that cleaning all day, just hanging out and watch my favorite American Idol, its the final session. Host Ryan Seacrest said tonight finale that nearly 100 million votes were cast for the finalists. The two-hour finale included big performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart. Lambert performed with Kiss and Allen dueted with Keith Urban also performed our Steve Martin and Kiss.
Before they announce the winner, the two finalist duet on "We are the Champions" with the members of Queen.
I always put my bid to Kris Allen, In a turn of events that viewers have variously found surprising, validating and frustrating, the underdog contestant Kris Allen was named the winner of “American Idol” on Wednesday night, receiving more votes than Adam Lambert, who was perceived (by some) to be the likely champion. That was most awesome performance that Ive seen on past American Idol.

Mother's Day
Mother's Day is celebrated to honor all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they bear in bringing up a child. Most countries including US, Australia, Canada, India and some part of Asian Country celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May. Mothers Day came into being due to the efforts made by Ms Julia Ward Howe and Ms Anna Jarvis. The Resolution for having a dedicated Mother's Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8, 1914. Since then people across the world have been celebrating Mothers Day with joy and devotion.
Origin of Mother's Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans. But the roots of Mother's Day history can also be traced in UK where a Mothering Sunday was celebrated much before the festival saw the light of the day in US. However, the celebration of the festival as it is seen today is a recent phenomenon and not even a hundred years old. Thanks to the hard work of the pioneering women of their times, Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis that the day came into existence. Today the festival of Mothers day is celebrated across 46 countries (though on different dates) and is a hugely popular affair. Millions of people across the globe take the day as an opportunity to honor their mothers, thank them for their efforts in giving them life, raising them and being their constant support and well wisher.
Wish you all mother's like me best in life and good health. Toss for being a mom.

Stop Smoking
If you smoke, you probably worry about what it's doing to your health. You probably worry too about how hard it will be to quit smoking. Nicotine is highly addictive and to quit smoking — especially without help — can be very difficult. In fact, most people fail the first time they try to quit smoking. But just because you fail once — or more than once — doesn't mean you can't succeed or that you shouldn't try again.
Take that first step: Decide to quit smoking and set a stop date. And then take advantage of the multitude of resources available to help you successfully quit smoking.

Star Trek Mania
It base that watched the show's 79 episodes religiously, the original "Star Trek" television series. The new film has already stirred some controversy among die-hard Trekkies for messing around (a little) with that "sacred material." In the new film, the Enterprise is built in Iowa instead of San Francisco, and some of the relationships are a bit different than fans may remember -- particularly a romantic relationship. But history comes in handy, particularly if you're an actor trying to get a handle on "Star Trek's" characters. This will be the movie that fans would love, even me I haven't watch it just the previous but this will be the movie that im dying to watch in theaters.

There's a new star in town but its not in the entertainment business, its not even actor. Its a flu, a swine flu. But this is not the 1st time that swine flu effect human being. On March 24, 1976, President Gerald Ford pressed the panic button.
A swine flu virus that scientists believed was descended from the devastating strain of 1918 had infected hundreds of recruits at Fort Dix in New Jersey. One had died. At the urgings of the Center for Disease Control, Ford mobilized a national effort to beat back a resurgence of the 1918 flu, which had killed an estimated 50 million worldwide. Television and radio outlets swamped the airwaves with reports of imminent danger. About 40 million Americans got swine flu shots.
The immunization program ground to a halt in 10 weeks after 525 people who were vaccinated then reported Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare condition typified by inflamed nerves and general weakness. About 25 people died.
Swine influenza (also called swine flu, pig influenza, hog flu, and pig flu) refers to influenza virus that usually infect pigs and are called swine influenza virus. Swine influenza is common in pigs in the Midwestern United States (and occasionally in other states), Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe (including the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Italy), Kenya, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.
Rarely, these strains of swine flu can pass from human to human. In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general, namely chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort. We need to be very careful nowadays, we don't know when or how we be effected. Hope It wont get to our love one's.

Torqoises
Last year at summer, I found a little turtle at our backyard it was so cute but its not just ordinary turtle, tortoises a type of land turtle. So I took it and keep as my pet. It walks faster than other land turtle, baby ashley was even afraid of the lil turtle.
There are 3 categorize of land- based turtle.
- Tortoises are land-based, thick-bodied, have blunt heads/faces & have ‘tree-trunk’ legs (like an elephant) that lives on the land but can enter the water for a drink, to cool off or to escape and evade predators.
- Box Turtles are fairly small (by land-turtle standards) semi-terrestrial turtles native to much of the U.S.
- Wood Turtles are medium to large semi-aquatics spending a lot of time on both land & in water.
Sometimes tortoise bites and it hurts, we don't even put him in a cage, his free to go everywhere in the house except outside(lol) he even have his own exersice cage. He eats live bugs. Still I dont know how old he is, ill let him go when summer time come so he wont freeze outside.

4 Ways to make money with your body
Four ways to use your body to make money I am sure that most people could use more money in there everyday life. I know that I could. So I decided to look for ways that everyone could make some extra cash. I know that anyone has the potential to do a least some part of this guide, because, unless some ecoplasmic being in reading, everyone has a body.
1)Sell out your body to science. There always seems to be drugs or other related experiments in need of test subjects. The pay can be up to thousands of dollars for just a few day worth of work. The downside is that there could be side effects of the drugs or other problems from the experiments.
2)Go to a CSI studio. I know that it seems odd, but I was reading a website found here and it said that they are in need of people to play the corpses. The downside would be that you would have to go to were this is taking place, and according to the website the pay is not great.
3) Sell your body space on the internet. There are tons of people who are willing to tattoo ads on there bodies. Sometimes people can get thousands of dollars for doing this. The main downside here is that after a while, you are going to wish that you never put the tattoo on yourself in the first place. I can not think of to many people who want a ad like buy product-x on there forehead forever. Also getting a tattoo can be quite painfully.
4) Sell your body post Morten. While this does not help you much, it can boost the income of friends or family. There are a great many websites selling corpses for all sorts of reasons. A dead body in good condition can fetch hundreds of dollars on the internet. The main problem here is that you have to be dead to benefit and that does not help you directly.
Now that you know of some ways to make some extra money. Just make sure that you do not do anything illegal when you try to make some extra cash.

Big Green Help
- Turn off lights.
- Turn off other electric things, like TVs, stereos, and radios when not in use.
- Use rechargeable batteries.
- Do things manually instead of electrically, like open cans by hand.
- Use fans instead of air conditioners.
- In winter, wear a sweater instead of turning up your thermostat.
- Insulate your home so you won't be cold in winter.
- Use less hot water.
- Whenever possible, use a bus or subway, or ride your bike or walk.
- Try to buy organic fruits and vegetables if you're concerned about pesticides. (Organic food is grown without man-made fertilizers and/or pesticides).
- Don't waste products made from forest materials.
- Use recycled paper and/or recycle it. Reuse old papers.
- Don't buy products that may have been made at the expense of the rainforest.
- Support products that are harvested from the rainforest but have not cut down trees to get it.
- Plant trees, especially if you have cut one down.
- Get other people to help you in your cause. Make and/or join an organization.
- Avoid products that are used once, then thrown away.
- Buy products with little or no packaging.
- Encourage your grocery store sell environmentally friendly cloth bags for people to use when they shop, or bring your own.
- REDUCE, REUSE, & RECYCLE.
- Compost.
- Buy recycled products.
- Don't buy pets taken from the wild.
- If you have a good zoo nearby, (if the animals are healthy and the zoo takes care of them), support it! Especially if they help breed endangered animals.
- Don't buy products if animals were killed to make it.
- Cut up your six-pack rings before throwing them out.

US Water!
Hundreds of active pharmaceutical ingredients are used in a variety of manufacturing, including drugmaking: For example, lithium is used to make ceramics and treat bipolar disorder; nitroglycerin is a heart drug and also used in explosives; copper shows up in everything from pipes to contraceptives. Most cities and water providers still do not test. Some scientists say that wherever researchers look, they will find pharma-tainted water. In one case, government data shows that in Columbus, Ohio, pharmaceutical maker Boehringer Ingelheim Roxane Inc. discharged an estimated 2,285 pounds of lithium carbonate — which is considered slightly toxic to aquatic invertebrates and freshwater fish — to a local wastewater treatment plant between 1995 and 2006. Company spokeswoman Marybeth C. McGuire said the pharmaceutical plant, which uses lithium to make drugs for bipolar disorder, has violated no laws or regulations. McGuire said all the lithium discharged, an annual average of 190 pounds, was lost when residues stuck to mixing equipment were washed down the drain. It so sad were not really safe on our city now because of that water toxic. I'm starting to have doubt about our goverment they couldnt even stop it, how can we trust our goverment now its really hard this days. But hopefully things change in our goverment that they can help our people.

Learning from your mistakes
It lifts a load off one’s shoulders and brings fruitless debates and hurt feelings to an end. It can be a fabulous point to build from and often provides an opportunity to develop a better relationship with the other person. It’s also good to laugh at yourself for certain mistakes (when it’s not inappropriate or disrespectful, of course). When those who surround us or even answer to us discover that we’re human, it connects us to a large degree with being genuine and besides, some of the best laughs result from our own silly little mistakes.Mistakes sometimes require compensation.
I learned in my early years to beat my patient to the punch by offering to redo something they didn’t like. In the grand scheme of life and business, a few replaced crowns or even thousands of dollars if larger mistakes are made, become “pennies” in light of a relationship that continues to grow.

Origin of Easter Sunday
In the United States in the early nineteenth century, Dolly Madison, the wife of the fourth American President, organized an egg roll in Washington, D.C. She had been told that Egyptian children used to roll eggs against the pyramids so she invited the children of Washington to roll hard-boiled eggs down the hilly lawn of the new Capitol building! The custom continued, except for the years during the Civil War. In 1880, the First Lady invited children to the White House for the Egg Roll because officials had complained that they were ruining the Capitol lawn. It has been held there ever since then, only canceled during times of war.
Who is the Easter Bunny?
The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the "Easter Hare", hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass.

Though pranksters and joke-lovers in many countries now gleefully prepare to dupe friends and loved ones on April Fool's Day, no one knows exactly when or why, or even where, this tradition began.
A giddy spurt of practical joking seems to have coincided with the coming of spring since the time of the Ancient Romans and Celts, who celebrated a festival of mischief-making. The first mentions of an All Fool's Day (as it was formerly called) came in Europe in the Middle Ages.
Some trace April Fool's Day back to Roman mythology, particularly the story of Ceres, Goddess of the harvest, and her daughter, Proserpina. Pluto, God of the Dead, abducted Proserpina and took her to live with him in the underworld. The girl called out to her mother, but Ceres could only hear the echo of her daughter's voice and searched for her in vain.
Such "fool's errands," or wild goose chases, became a popular practical joke in Europe in later centuries.
The most widespread theory of the origin of April Fool's Day is the switch from the old Julian to the Gregorian calendar (now in use) in the late 16th century. Under the Julian calendar, the New Year was celebrated during the week between March 25 and April 1, but under the Gregorian calendar, it was moved to Jan. 1. Those who were not notified of the change, or stubbornly kept to the old tradition, were often mocked and had jokes played on them on or around the old New Year.
In France, this took the form of pranksters sticking fish on the backs of those who celebrated the old custom, earning the victims of the prank the name Poisson d'Avril, or April Fish.
But the theory can't explain why the pranking tradition spread to other countries in Europe that did not adopt the Gregorian calendar until later.
In Scotland, the butts of April Fool's jokes were known as April "Gowks," another name for a cuckoo bird. The origins of the "Kick Me" sign can supposedly be traced back to the Scottish observance of the day.
In more recent times, radio stations, TV programs and Web sites have set up gullible readers and listeners. One of the most notorious jokes was a 1957 hoax BBC documentary of the annual spaghetti harvest in Switzerland, featuring a family plucking strands of the pasta from "spaghetti trees." The Italian favorite was still considered an exotic delicacy in Britain at the time, and many listeners were so fooled they wanted to find out how to get a spaghetti bush of their own.
So while you're surfing the web or watching TV today, be wary of what you see and read, or you could end up an April Fool!Enjoy ....
